New Affiliates
I hadn't gotten a chance to get these guys in here yet, so I wanted to make sure I made them top priority on this update. So here goes.
- First off, we have SarahZwerg. My favorite thing? It's a German site!!!! HELL YEAH!!! I'm all about affiliating with the Germans. Diese Site is sehr schone und es hat Buffy, Angel, Twilight, und mehr. :)
- Then we have Dream World, which is simply lovely. The layout right now is AMAZING and I love the artwork listed, so certainly go check that out. You'll be enthralled just by the inital opening of the site.



On another note, thanks to those who gave me the belated birthday wishes! You're sweethearts. And if you want to check out my AWESOME golden birthday present, scroll down to the last update. I just love it. I got that and a chocolate pie, so I'm pretty much set. :) And MAYBE a job - Wells Fargo may be hiring me as a mortgage closer in the coming weeks!!! *crossing fingers*

It's going to be a nice relaxing weekend since last week was CRAZY, plus it is Super Bowl time, so I'll be capping a bunch. I did the Nanny McPhee BluRays finally when I found them. Those movies are so cute. I'm one of those people that loves kids' movies, even though I'll watch like, the most horrifying of horror films and such as well. I hate when critics rip on kids' films, which I see all the time. They're so sweet and if the children enjoy them, that's all that matters.

New Artwork
- Birds Will Sing: I don't watch "Once Upon a Time" yet, so this one was made for my mom, who loves the show. It's simply based on Snow and Prince Charming and I utilized the lyrics from the film "Snow White". I used a lot of fairy tale style stocks including the forestry and more, which I really enjoyed.

- Someday My Prince Will Come: This one is based simply on Snow and her longing for Prince Charming. Again, it has a lot of the fairy tale imagery and colors, which are so fun to use.

- Nobody Said It Was Easy: This one was made for Bre's challenge at the Buffyforums. It was based on the scene between Caroline and her father in the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries. I'm not going to spoil the episode for others, so I'll just not go into details. But needless to say, it was emotional.

- Come Back and Haunt Me: Another piece for Bre's challenge, based on the last scene of True Blood so far. This scene totally broke my heart because it reminded me really only of when Sookie lost Gram. In a show with so much supernatural stuff going on and so much coming back from the dead, it's hard to see someone die a natural (yet horrific) death that they may not get to come back from. I thought the lyrics were very fitting as they seemed to Sookie's mindset and the purple and brown tones were used as they are often in the setting of mourning.

Got my new tattoo!!!

My mom bought it for me for my golden birthday. It is on the back of my left calf.

It was designed and later tattooed by Josh Palmer at Aloha Monkey in Burnsville, MN. It was cool because I had been thinking of this for years since I am a HUGE Hello Kitty girl and a bigger fan of A Clockwork Orange. I always wanted a ACO tattoo, but they were all very masculine in nature until I thought of this. So I sent him a bunch of pictures of both Alex from the movie and Hello Kitty. He incorporated a lot of the imagery and color of both, including the awesome orange bow on the hat and the eyeball on the bow that is normally on Alex's sleeve. I just LOVE it!

My leg is essentially retaliating against me right now though (hurts like HELL). It hates me for tattooing it. It's funny too, cuz my left side is the side affected by my cerebral palsy, so my leg does not lie flat. The tattoo artists called it my "spring loaded leg" cuz it just pops back up if you press it down. So they had to prop it up a certain way to get it done.

...and I am officically twenty-nine years old!!!

My birthday was the twenty-ninth and we went to dinner, dancing, and a gentlemen's club. Crazy night, but so much fun. It's been an overall crazy busy week, so I haven't had time for anything. Things should get back to normal now.
